DEMARÍA PIDIÓ QUE LOS JUEGOS DEPORTIVOS UNIVERSITARIOS DE PLAYA SEAN DECLARADOS DE INTERÉS PROVINCIAL
La senadora costera, Gabriela Demaría, presentó un proyecto en la Legislatura bonaerense para que los Juegos Deportivos Universitarios de Playa (JUPLA) – La Costa 2020, a realizarse del 12 al 15 de marzo en Mar de Ajó, sean declarados de Interés Provincial y Legislativo.
“Este evento de carácter internacional es de enorme trascendencia para el Partido de La Costa y la provincia de Buenos Aires no sólo porque se espera contar con un gran caudal de visitantes sino además porque se inaugura la modalidad de juegos universitarios de playa”, destacó la Dra. Demaría.
Esta edición, organizada por la Federación del Deporte Universitario Argentino (FeDUA) en conjunto con la Universidad Atlántida Argentina y la Municipalidad de La Costa, contará con la participación de deportistas provenientes de nuestro país, Brasil, Chile y Uruguay.
En los fundamentos del proyecto, la legisladora del Frente de Todos detalló que “los y las deportistas universitarios podrán participar en las siguientes disciplinas: aguas abiertas, cestoball, fútbol, handball, hockey, rugby, tenis y voleibol”. Asimismo destacó que “los Juegos se realizarán en un escenario natural entre los médanos y el mar lo que dará un marco singular a la ocasión y permitirá a los y las participantes, y sus familias, conocer las bellezas naturales de La Costa”.
Finalmente, la senadora sostuvo que “este proyecto busca, por un lado, reconocer y avalar la realización de este importante encuentro para el Partido y la Provincia; y, por otro lado, destacar la relevancia de su desarrollo en el marco de las políticas de educación y deporte que son dos pilares centrales para el Municipio de La Costa en la promoción del desarrollo, la inclusión y la transformación social”.
